HD Rafio no longer processing

Have had car 3 weeks and noticed that the radio is no longer locking in on HD signals. Used to provide the HD logo and alternate signal on some stations and now it no longer works. Yes the HD button on the right is lit but no signals being processed. Any one else have this happen? Also noticed irritating distortion on AM stations only.

Thanks

You can disable HD lock-on.  Go in to your entertainment menu and on the left menu, there should be a button that turns HD services on and off.

As far as AM distortion goes... I get a really annoying higher pitched, constant noise when the car is plugged in, no matter if it's charging or not.  It's powerful enough to reach radios in the house too.  I don't listen to AM hardly at all so it's something I overlook... but I'm sure if any of my neighbors do, it's driving them nuts.  I'll just wait for them to figure out it's my car (as they'll be able to tell if I'm plugged in or not) before I roll in to fix it.  However, I was wondering if anybody else was experiencing that noise.  Really strong stations are unaffected, but more distant ones between 1000 and 1300khz are blasted.

The HD radio button is on but no signals are being processed where up to a day or two ago it worked great.  I called SYNC Help today and they could not help... Maybe a bad radio as this may account for the distorted AM radio sound as well...

Will keep you all updated.  Getting nervous as this is another item on a new car that is not working reliably - one touch window up is the other which has now been reset 4 times.

I don't know if you'd want to mess with this or not, but you can try a master reset for the MFT and see if that helps.  Failing that... there's a far more invasive way to reset everything - pull the big battery disconnect and disconnect the negative lead on your 12V battery too.  Leave it sit for 15 minutes or so to let all residual energy drain from the system (or just get in and try to start the car), and then reconnect it all.  This should reset everything to factory defaults.

Or you can just roll in to the dealer and let them mess with it.  May as well since it's all under warranty. :)

I am experiencing problems with my Energi and was wondering if you are having the same experience.

First, I have been to the dealer six times now to fix the one touch up and down feature to function. After I get the car back, the RF window stops working, then the passenger side.

The key FOB window up/down feature stops working too on the affected windows.

Also, the stereo sounds terrific in the "Surround" mode. The problem is that every time I get in the car or let it sit overnight, it defaults back to the "Stereo" mode. Then have to go to "settings" and reselect Surround. Seems we shouldn't have to do that...

I rented a Taurus a couple of weeks ago with the same MFD screen we have. The windows didn't deprogram and the radio stays in the Surround mode.

Ford fixed the right rear window, which sometimes wouldn't go down more than three inches. They replaced some parts and now the RR window works.

Just got off the phone with Ford customer care manager Zachary and he tells me the same line the dealer did, Ford engineers are working on a software fix for this and the windows issue and to check back with the dealer every month for an update.

What a joke. How about Ford contact us when a fix is found or replace the radios for those affected, as it doesn't occur on every unit.

Just read a post on the Blue Oval forum that someone had success in fixing the HD radio by pulling the radio fuses and reseating them 5 seconds later, Fuse # 32 and 33.  It was a regular 13 Fusion but not sure if this will work for the Energi or not.  Even if it does, I'm sure it will be like the windows and provide only a temporary fix.

Still no word from Ford on a fix for the radio or the window on touch up.
