SD Diver Posted November 1, 2013 at 05:04 AM Report Share Posted November 1, 2013 at 05:04 AM (edited) Ha - after last night's post, mine arrived today! So, without dealer intervention, it takes about 8 weeks to get the stickers. Boy are they green. Really green. Does not go that well with a black paint job... Fat Fusion Posted November 1, 2013 at 05:11 AM Report Share Posted November 1, 2013 at 05:11 AM Yep takes about 3 weeks in CA to get the stickers these days. They're really coming in handy. I passed no joke about 50,000 cars on the way home from work today on HWY 101. All three of the other lanes were gridlocked for about 8 miles or so. And for the next two to three weeks my commute is going from 25 to 70 miles each way as I go "right the ship" at a major supplier of ours. I get to go there all day every day until we have reason to believe they're back on track. Probably half of the distance has an HOV lane, and it is a reverse commute. 7277 Posted November 1, 2013 at 06:34 AM Report Share Posted November 1, 2013 at 06:34 AM (edited) As of September 15 2013 in CA the dealers can pre-buy the stickers. The dealer gave me mine when I bought the car, at another dealer they were already installed in the showroom. JesseDiaz Posted November 1, 2013 at 04:27 PM Report Share Posted November 1, 2013 at 04:27 PM 7277- You are right. Most of the energis I saw at the dealership already had the sticker. Of course mine didn't so I wait

SD Diver Posted November 5, 2013 at 04:07 AM Report Share Posted November 5, 2013 at 04:07 AM I'd say P1050364. When I first looked - I saw only the two that were in your post which, on an iPhone, looked pretty close. I tried to make mine as low as possible... I really came close to not putting them on. Eric4539 Posted November 5, 2013 at 04:22 AM Report Share Posted November 5, 2013 at 04:22 AM I just could not get myself to put those HOV stickers on my car. It took about 2 weeks from the time I applied until I received them, but that was a while ago so I don't remember exactly how long it took. I do not drive in rush hour traffic often so I will bring someone along for the ride instead of using those stickers. If I had to commute in rush hour traffic daily I would probably bite the bullet and slap those stickers on too. SD Diver and jgcec - man, do those stickers really stand out on black and red! jgcec@yahoo.com Posted November 5, 2013 at 05:47 PM Report Share Posted November 5, 2013 at 05:47 PM (edited) I found the sticker placement that I like the most,It does not distract you too much from the beautiful Fusion front end, http://www.fordfusionenergiforum.com/gallery/image/273-js1280-p1050388/ Edited November 5, 2013 at 06:05 PM by jgcec@yahoo.com
montelena Posted November 9, 2013 at 05:00 AM Report Share Posted November 9, 2013 at 05:00 AM I was one of the lucky ones to receive my stickers at the same time of purchase. I placed them at the same locations as mikenmar, though I refused to put on the front sticker because I am vain and would rather be pulled over than stick that ugly sticker on the front bumper. It was tough for me to even put on the back three, but I do commute on a big freeway everyday so it'd be dumb of me to not take advantage of them. (I'll let you know if I ever get pulled over for not having the front one on.)
Kybuck Posted February 8, 2014 at 03:29 AM Report Share Posted February 8, 2014 at 03:29 AM Another California owner checking in. My dealer did not pre-order the stickers, so I had to wait for my licence plate number before sending in the paperwork. For anyone curious, here's the timing of receiving the plates, stickers, etc. Purchased Energi: 12/23/13Title Received (with licence plate no.): 1/16/14HOV Paperwork and Check mailed to DMV: 1/17/14License Plates/Registration Received:1/21/14Check Cashed: 2/3/14 (showed up this day in my account, stamp on the back dated 1/31/14)HOV stickers Received: 2/5/14 (paperwork dated 1/31/14) After only two days with the stickers on my car... I think it's the best $8 I've ever spent.
ctwomey Posted March 11, 2014 at 06:32 PM Report Share Posted March 11, 2014 at 06:32 PM I'm an idiot, and in a gleeful rush to put them on, put them up much higher than all you smart people. Anyhow, just posting to suggest to anyone reading this thread to put them down as low as possible. I can't imagine (in hindsight) ever having to struggle with the police on this if it is actually on the car in the right quadrant. Also, i bought before xmas, which slowed things down I'm sure, but it was close to 2 months by the time i finally got stickers...

thinkcooper Posted February 11, 2015 at 05:39 PM Report Share Posted February 11, 2015 at 05:39 PM (edited) My 2015 Titanium from North Bay Ford in Santa Cruz came with a set of CA HOV stickers. I applied them as low and discreetly as possible. The green stickers aren't as contrasty on the platinum white as they seem to be on colors like dark grays or the red. lonzo71 Posted February 11, 2015 at 07:22 PM Report Share Posted February 11, 2015 at 07:22 PM wow, they are ugly and cant believe you have to have that many.
