Doug0716 Posted June 25, 2014 at 04:22 AM Report Share Posted June 25, 2014 at 04:22 AM (edited) I sell them so I hope I can help. $300 under invoice on an order is a crazy price, I'm shocked you got it. Good job you.As for rebates, I'm sure you know they may change. This round of rebates is setnto change July 07, 2014.Tate, Can you provide some info as to what number, before any incentves obiously, (as it relates to invoice) I should be looking to pay for a 2015 Energi Titanium pre-order (all options except parking and moon roof)? I've heard people say you get better deals on inventory sitting on the lot, but the way I see it is this is an easy/clean sale for a dealership so I should get a pretty good deal. Thanks,-Doug Edited June 25, 2014 at 04:24 AM by Doug0716
Rexracer Posted June 25, 2014 at 03:20 PM Report Share Posted June 25, 2014 at 03:20 PM Hello there FFE Community, Just leased a 2014 FFE Titanium Dark Side with A/C seats for my business today. There was only one available like it(in Dark Side) in the state so it was an interesting buying experience. I did a lot of homework thanks to this forum, true car and other lease/buying tips websites. I ended up getting the car that I wanted for $300 under invoice. Please let me know your honest opinion on how I did. I live in So Cal. If you need more details I would be happy to provide. PS- No luck getting the $750 coupon thus far... Sticker:MSRP $36,965Destination & Delivery $ 825Total MSRP $37,790 What I paid:Base $35,216Minus Mfg Rebate+ $4007 Federal credit - $ 5,257CA Rebate(should arrive in sept) - $ 1,500Total Price $ 28,459 I really have no input on a lease, but can say I received 10k off MSRP on my 2013 not including the 4007 Fed Credit. As a 2013 close out the MSRP is 4k higher then an equivalent 2014, but thats still 6k off compared to your $1,257 off. BUT thats a 2013 at the end of the year so there was strong motivation to get them off the lots. Also for comparison, ignoring the mfg rebate, the dealer was ~$2,500 under invoice, so $300 under invoice is not "crazy". There are so many kick backs and other "deals" going on that you really have to take everything the dealer tells you as a suggestion not a rule. I talked to half a dozen dealers who all but said flat out "Your crazy" several said "No one is going to take that big of a loss, there is no way you can buy one of these cars for that price". Well enough looking and I did, and from reading here, several other people have found dealers willing to make the deal. More work, but it is possible. jetjam Posted July 11, 2014 at 02:25 AM Report Share Posted July 11, 2014 at 02:25 AM Purchased a 2014 SE Energi today! Sticker MSRP 38585 Purchase price 31000plus processing fee of 599 Tax and tags are not included, but my statecharges a maximum of $300 on any vehicle purchase. I think it was a good deal, it's well below invoice. The car had been on their lot a long time, with the 2015 coming, I think they wanted to get rid of it. Organic Man Posted August 12, 2014 at 03:07 PM Report Share Posted August 12, 2014 at 03:07 PM (edited) My question was incomplete on my fault. If the manufacturer sales are, in fact, tied to the eligibility of the credit, is the amount of the credit always $4007 if eligible or does that amount get phased down to a lower amount based on the current number of sales at the time i buy mine or which quarter of the year in which i but mine? I appreciate the informal advice here. Obviously, I will contact a tax professional before my purchase.Ordered mid July, 2014 2015. Total MSRP. 42,190. I paid 38,900. This price is before ANY incentives and does not include TTL. Also received very good price on my trade in vehicle. Quoted mid Sept delivery. When should I have an order number, build date, VIN number? Edited August 12, 2014 at 11:59 PM by Organic Man
murphy Posted August 12, 2014 at 04:27 PM Report Share Posted August 12, 2014 at 04:27 PM The order number should be on the documentation that you received when you placed the order. Didn't they have you read and sign a document verifying that the order matches what you requested?

murphy Posted August 25, 2014 at 09:22 AM Report Share Posted August 25, 2014 at 09:22 AM Make sure that when the dealer installs the all weather floor mats he doesn't keep the regular mats. I only use the all weather mats in the winter. My car came with the all weather mats in a plastic bag in the trunk, The dealer did not install them. jeff_h
wazer Posted August 30, 2014 at 02:13 PM Report Share Posted August 30, 2014 at 02:13 PM Please see my forum signature for the options included on my vehicle. MSRP: $41,000 X-Plan: $38,551.68Incentives: $3,557 federal tax credit, $500 recent graduateFinal Cost: $34,494.68 I feel good about getting 15.9% off sticker for such an incredible car! I was a little disappointed though that the tax credit dropped this model year from $4007 to $3557, though. This car still puts a huge smile on my face every time I hop in. :)

Hybridbear Posted September 8, 2014 at 08:13 PM Report Share Posted September 8, 2014 at 08:13 PM Our dealer knocked about $15k off the sticker price of our 2013 Energi Titanium and gave us about $1500 better than KBB to trade in our 2013 Fusion Hybrid SE. The price difference after taxes, etc works out to about $4900. After the tax credit the cost is about $900 which is quickly offset by other savings associated with the Energi. Thus our Energi was "free".http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/9227-if-you-could-get-an-energi-titanium-for-nothing-would-you-take-it
Eric4539 Posted September 12, 2014 at 11:51 PM Report Share Posted September 12, 2014 at 11:51 PM Carmax has 2 2014 Energi Titaniums for sale. One seems to have most options and lists for $32,998, 10k miles. The other does not have Active Park Assist or Heated Steering Wheel but seems to have the other options and lists for $30,998, 26k miles (Tuxedo Black with Red Brick Leather) They also have 3 Hybrid Titaniums selling; 1 for $30,998 and 2 for $31,998 and none have Adaptive Cruise Control, 2 of them have the Driver Assist Package, and only 1 has Active Park Assist. The Hybrid selling for $30,998 does not have many options at all which makes the Energi they are selling for $30,998 seem like a much, much better buy although it has more miles on it.
