Kennaway Posted December 1, 2021 at 12:10 AM Report Share Posted December 1, 2021 at 12:10 AM This is our first winter with a 2018 Energi. This morning there was a dusting of snow on our side street, and it was very slippery at the stop sign. In an ICE car, if the wheels lock up when braking gently, the anti-locks take over. Is that the case on an Energi? Is there anti-lock on the regen braking, if only gentle pedal pressure is applied and the wheels lock up? murphy Posted December 1, 2021 at 12:48 AM Report Share Posted December 1, 2021 at 12:48 AM Regen can't lock up the wheels. If the wheels aren't turning there is no regen braking. Only the friction brakes can lock up the wheels. There is anti-lock braking on the Energi.
