Energi Warranty

Hey I did a search for this specific topic but I don't see it here.  If i missed it, please redirect me and then feel free to delete this post.

Are the warranties on these standard, just like most other Fords? 3 year 36000 mile? What happens when your battery pack dies after that? Do the electrical components get an extended warranty?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The 'unique hybrid components' get an 8 year, 100k warranty.  I assume there is a pro-rate on the battery though after a certain period, but I've been unable to find that.

The battery is covered with an exception noted for "gradual capacity loss" that is expected with this technology.

Note: Lithium-Ion Battery Gradual Capacity Loss

The Lithium-ion battery (EV battery) will experience gradual

capacity loss with time and use (similar to all lithium-ion batteries),

which is considered normal wear and tear. Loss of battery capacity

due to or resulting from gradual capacity loss is NOT covered under

the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. See your Owner’s Manual for

important tips on how to maximize the life and capacity of the

Lithium-ion battery.
