AMCJeep401 Posted April 14, 2021 at 01:56 PM Report Share Posted April 14, 2021 at 01:56 PM Just purchased a new to me Energi that I have yet to pick up. I’ll be flying to Los Angeles on 4/23 to driver her home 2,000 miles right out of the gate. Hopefully this thing is a decent one and makes it home! 2019 Titanium with just over 10k miles. muzicman61 Posted April 14, 2021 at 02:11 PM Report Share Posted April 14, 2021 at 02:11 PM Welcome. You must have really wanted that car to fly to LA and drive 2000 back home. Good luck!
AMCJeep401 Posted April 14, 2021 at 02:24 PM Author Report Share Posted April 14, 2021 at 02:24 PM The negotiated price was below trade-in. Coming from Michigan originally, I can appreciate a ‘clean’ vehicle that hasn’t gone through salted roads. There are not many energies available in this corner of the country either, especially with lower than average miles.

I did the same thing (fly to LA to buy my used Energi) though for me it was only 400 miles. A long day trip, but worth it.
muzicman61 Posted April 15, 2021 at 11:08 PM Report Share Posted April 15, 2021 at 11:08 PM Does LA have a hoard on used Fusion Energis? ?
jsamp Posted April 16, 2021 at 02:02 AM Report Share Posted April 16, 2021 at 02:02 AM Yes, they do (or did when I was looking 3 years ago). I could not find any in the color I wanted, and there were 3 of them in the LA area and one more in my alternate color. It was worth a $150 flight to go test drive them. I had a refundable return ticket that I cashed in before driving home. So Cal was a hot spot for EVs early on. Not sure if that is still true. DozerCSX Posted October 1, 2021 at 03:38 AM Report Share Posted October 1, 2021 at 03:38 AM Wow! I feel lucky living in Silicon Valley, with a veritable plethora of Energi’s available on lots here! There are so many Teslas around here, Fusion Energi’s get somewhat overlooked. We got a super deal ($10k under MSRP) and I can’t say enough about the car. jeffdeq Posted November 4, 2021 at 02:37 PM Report Share Posted November 4, 2021 at 02:37 PM I drove 1720 miles round trip from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Lafayette, Indiana to trailer back a 2018 Fusion Platinum Energi, with 16,240 miles on it. This was a one owner vehicle from Toronto, Canada. There are very few Fusion Energi’s here in the south. So far I am extremely impressed with the performance from this automobile. jsamp Posted November 5, 2021 at 05:39 AM Report Share Posted November 5, 2021 at 05:39 AM Nice ride! Wouldn't it have been cheaper to buy a plane ticket and 20ish gallons of gas to drive the energi home than drive that rig up and back? jeffdeq Posted November 5, 2021 at 01:39 PM Report Share Posted November 5, 2021 at 01:39 PM If I had decided to buy the one in San Francisco I would have done that. This was a one day drive each way. We stopped at friends on the way back. 800 miles is pretty much my limit to go get a vehicle. Any more than that, yes, it requires a one way flight. jsamp
