Dimitar Posted April 3, 2021 at 08:06 PM Report Share Posted April 3, 2021 at 08:06 PM I have had the car for several months. I am very pleased. Until yesterday. I started the car and after a few meters it suddenly stopped without any electricity. With a jumper we managed to turn off at neutral speed and pushed her to the parking lot. I saw that the 12 volt battery was damaged Battery Cable Fuse 120 200 Amp Box Circuit Breaker. 200 Amp had been burned. I moved the + terminal to 120A, but the car didn't work. Forscan gives me errors U3003, U0253. Where to look for the problem? Thanks
murphy Posted April 3, 2021 at 09:27 PM Report Share Posted April 3, 2021 at 09:27 PM I'm not sure what you are saying. There is nothing in an Energi that puts a big load on the 12 volt battery. The engine is started by the high voltage battery. There is no traditional starter motor. There is no alternator. The 12 volt battery is charged by a DC to DC converter from the high voltage battery. 200 amps sounds like high voltage circuits. Are the wires orange? Be careful. 350 volts DC can kill you. Dimitar Posted April 6, 2021 at 05:44 PM Author Report Share Posted April 6, 2021 at 05:44 PM I found a blown fuse (200А) on the 12 volt battery and a blown fuse (175) on the front under the fuse box. Now the car is in motion but shows me a message to check the charging system. Forscan say - U3000 DC-DC converter. Where to look for the problem? murphy Posted April 6, 2021 at 08:41 PM Report Share Posted April 6, 2021 at 08:41 PM Measure the 12 volt battery voltage with the car on. If it is not above 12.7 volts, which is the voltage of a fully charged battery, then the DC to DC converter is not working. It could be a high voltage fuse or the converter itself. Dimitar Posted April 7, 2021 at 05:52 PM Author Report Share Posted April 7, 2021 at 05:52 PM Today I checked the output voltage of the DC converter - 11.7V. So I have to look for another converter on eBay
