jberger Posted April 6, 2013 at 12:14 AM Report Share Posted April 6, 2013 at 12:14 AM I use the 110v at home. I have set Go Times in the morning and just do not feel any increase in interior temperature. It feels ambient. Do you have to be plugged into a 240v charger? I have 240v chargers at the Dealership of course, and haven't set go times because I charge spontaneously. I even set it to 85 degrees this morning just to test it out to no avail! Scooter80 Posted April 6, 2013 at 12:47 AM Report Share Posted April 6, 2013 at 12:47 AM I believe go-times only work with 240v charging. I certainly never had any luck on the 120v anyways.
jberger Posted April 6, 2013 at 03:13 AM Author Report Share Posted April 6, 2013 at 03:13 AM Actually, I do notice a warning that performanceay not be as good with the 110v. My commute is only 9 miles, so I can make it just fine with climate Control on. But with It off I can drive to work and back in one charge. Just trying to maximize. Energized Posted April 6, 2013 at 09:31 PM Report Share Posted April 6, 2013 at 09:31 PM My Go Times work with 110V but it seems like its just blowing ambient air as well. When I use a Level 2 charger, I get better performance from the climate control and fully chilled air coming out of the vents.
Energized Posted April 10, 2013 at 12:03 AM Report Share Posted April 10, 2013 at 12:03 AM (edited) I tried the Go Time again today on 110V with the A/C set to 65 degrees via the app. When I got in, the A/C was definitely working and working very well. The battery was already fully charged so the system could evidently supply full power to the climate system. CombsAuthor Posted April 10, 2013 at 12:08 AM Report Share Posted April 10, 2013 at 12:08 AM Same here. I tried it out and the cabin temperature was warm...all on the 110v charger. The real test will be how cool it becomes on a hot Texas day :-)
jberger Posted April 10, 2013 at 09:34 PM Author Report Share Posted April 10, 2013 at 09:34 PM It may work better with cooling off then warming. Up here in Seattle that won't happen for a few months if at all!
