meyersnole Posted March 31, 2013 at 02:39 AM Report Share Posted March 31, 2013 at 02:39 AM I found this image on a Ford Focus forum... I like it a lot. You can find quite a few doing a google search too. Anybody else change their home screen?

efudd Posted March 31, 2013 at 04:31 PM Report Share Posted March 31, 2013 at 04:31 PM (edited) I believe it's in the owners manual. You can upload the image by either the SD or USB according to the manual.press the Settings icon > Display > Edit Wallpaper, and then follow the system prompts to upload your photographs.Only the photograph(s), which meets the following conditions, display:• Compatible file formats are as follows: .jpg, .gif, .png, .bmp• Each file must be 1.5 MB or less.• Recommended dimensions: 800 x 384The system lets you upload up to 32 photos Edited March 31, 2013 at 09:44 PM by efudd TX NRG, meyersnole and FusionEnergi
rtshinn Posted April 1, 2013 at 06:40 PM Report Share Posted April 1, 2013 at 06:40 PM I wish I could set it so the last screen I was in would come back up after starting the car instead of the Home Screen by default.

CombsAuthor Posted April 17, 2013 at 04:45 AM Report Share Posted April 17, 2013 at 04:45 AM This is actually a great feature that we use a lot by changing the image with the others that I've preloaded. The key here is to use that 800 x 384 dimension. Darker images or uncomplicated background shots are better. http://www.fordfusionenergiforum.com/gallery/image/99-my-fordtouch-home-screen/
efudd Posted April 17, 2013 at 04:58 AM Report Share Posted April 17, 2013 at 04:58 AM You can also resize the picture on a Mac using the Preview application included in OS X. Open the image in Preview, and select Adjust Size... under the Tools menu. You can change the units to pixels and click the lock to release the aspect ratio. 47Minutes Posted April 17, 2013 at 02:24 PM Report Share Posted April 17, 2013 at 02:24 PM Does a flash drive have to be formatted other than NTFS for MFT to recognize it? I tried loading a background from a drive I use daily and it would not acknowledge that anything was plugged in.

Yes, it must be FAT32 and I have found the system does not perform very well with too many files. I got it to work (with some playing around) with over 8000 files, but the whole system becomes very slow. I think its RAM deprived.
