yojroz Posted March 25, 2013 at 07:21 PM Report Share Posted March 25, 2013 at 07:21 PM I guess now that we are all getting our cars, it's time to start discussing issues we're having. The only thing I can find so far that seemingly doesn't work is my driver window auto up. I can feel the two clicks when rolling down...the first rolls til I stop and the second auto downs it fine. When rolling up I also feel the two clicks but the second one does not auto roll up. Is this a setting I have to activate? Anyone else having this issue? Luckily, that's the only problem I am having so far.
Scooter80 Posted March 25, 2013 at 07:49 PM Report Share Posted March 25, 2013 at 07:49 PM (edited) I had a similar problem the first time I tried to use mine. Reading other forums and having an Audi led me to believe they may need to be programmed so I tried the same procedure I sometimes need to do with the Audi after the battery drains too far. Lower the window(s) all the way by holding the button(s) all the way down. Then roll up all the way also holding the buttons all the way until and after the windows are done moving. May need to repeat once more. One-touch should now work. The way I understand it, this programs the limits of the window movement as well as the interference safety feature. Hope this works for ya. yojroz Posted March 25, 2013 at 08:27 PM Author Report Share Posted March 25, 2013 at 08:27 PM Great tip Scooter! That worked. I didn't even realize all 4 of my windows needed to be "programmed". In my experience it took doing each one 3 times for it to work. Also I had to hold the button about one second after the window was down or up til you hear a "click" each time. Now they all work great.
Scooter80 Posted March 25, 2013 at 10:32 PM Report Share Posted March 25, 2013 at 10:32 PM Yeah, they really should do this at the factory or at least mention it in the OM. Glad it helped!
Energized Posted April 2, 2013 at 11:15 PM Report Share Posted April 2, 2013 at 11:15 PM (edited) The auto-up windows will also need to be reset/recalibrated any time the battery is removed Edited April 2, 2013 at 11:16 PM by Energized Hewlettk

Thanks from me too! Strange that it was working originally, but after attempting my remote all down, the front two windows would not one touch up. Everything is now back operating normally. Thakns again for the great tip!
GregKet1 Posted June 4, 2013 at 04:35 AM Report Share Posted June 4, 2013 at 04:35 AM I had mine all working fine after Scooter's tip. But today the driver's window would no longer auto down. Another calibration and it is working fine. No idea why it is losing its mind but it is.
Mr. Fusion Posted June 4, 2013 at 08:57 PM Report Share Posted June 4, 2013 at 08:57 PM And it will keep losing it's memory.... Very irritating.
Steeler75 Posted June 12, 2013 at 08:00 PM Report Share Posted June 12, 2013 at 08:00 PM Ditto. Drivers up and passenger front seat window auto up keeps needing to be reset. Three times now in three weeks. Is this a fixable item for dealer? TSB issued? Thanks
rprobst Posted June 12, 2013 at 10:50 PM Report Share Posted June 12, 2013 at 10:50 PM Ditto. My driver's window is regularly losing its mind. Have to keep re-programing it. i asked the dealer about this and quoted a couple of TSBs that had been mentioned on another thread. That was a mistake, since neither TSB applied to my car. Rhyalus Posted June 13, 2013 at 10:45 AM Report Share Posted June 13, 2013 at 10:45 AM Yup, this seems to be a common issue. It will be a TSB eventually... R
Hewlettk Posted June 28, 2013 at 08:51 PM Report Share Posted June 28, 2013 at 08:51 PM I am having the same problem with my two front windows. I am always using the key FOB to put the windows up and down. Once the windows deprogram the FOB up/down option stops working too. My stereo won't stay in "Surround" surround mode either. Resets every night and sometimes the same day.
Energized Posted June 30, 2013 at 03:11 PM Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 at 03:11 PM Yup, this seems to be a common issue. It will be a TSB eventually... RI've been waiting for someone to take their car in to get the TSB process rolling. I haven't had to take my car back for anything, and this issue is too minor to me to make a special trip. I guess I could call the dealer and ask them if there is a TSB out yet. Has anyone noticed if the regular hybrid Fusion has this issue, or is it exclusive to the Energi? jeff_h Posted June 30, 2013 at 03:19 PM Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 at 03:19 PM Has anyone noticed if the regular hybrid Fusion has this issue, or is it exclusive to the Energi? I imagine this would be something in all Fusion models... my SE Hybrid has run into this 2-3 times over 17k miles, so yeah it's a small nuisance but not a big one. Wife's Energi has not experienced it at all, IIRC.
Mr. Fusion Posted June 30, 2013 at 10:46 PM Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 at 10:46 PM Very weird, but my windows haven't lost the up/down in at least 3 weeks. I "Think" it loses it when I hesitate or catch it between a short and long press. Now, I emphatically long press it, and it seems to have not lost it’s memory.
