Garage Remote

So I programmed my garage remote into all three buttons on my Fusion visor.  It's worked perfectly for years.  Now suddenly, it refuses to open or close the garage door in the morning.  Works perfectly from half a block away coming home.  Is there a battery in there that might be getting weak?  This one boggles my mind why it works fine in the afternoon but not in the morning.  Temps are around 85 in the morning and 100 in the afternoon.  Wouldn't think that would make much difference.

It's powered from the car's 12 volt battery.

Have you added any electronic items in the vicinity of the garage lately?  I have a Chamberlain GDO on 315 MHz that gets it's receiver de-sensed by an IP camera that has a spurious emission on 315 MHz.  Maybe one whose spurious emissions are affected by temperature.

Just the visor.  The real remote works fine.  But I think Murphy hit the nail on the head.  I did just recently add a Blink camera just outside the garage door.  And that explains why it works when i come home because I'm far enough away the camera doesn't interfere.

Thanks Murph!  I believe this mystery is solved.

I don't have the visor opener, but certain times of the year in the morning I have the issue with my handheld and it is due to the sun hitting the reverse sensor blocking the beam.  Since your handheld still works, than that obviously isn't your issue.

Nope, not the sun but the camera for sure.
