Tire mishap

So yesterday when backing into a parking spot I hit the curb lightly. It was lightly enough that the rim never made contact with the curb. But it ripped the sidewall, right down to the cords. The tires have literally 11,000kms on them. So luckily I only have to replace the one!

Point of this post, is be careful these tires seem to have soft sidewalls. My buddy who was with me and I couldn’t believe it ripped But it did.

Well I had a great conversation with one of Michelin customer reps on Monday, and I’m happy to report they replaced the tire as a courtesy.

I have always bought Michelin tires starting with the Xones years ago. For both my cars and sport bikes.

Thank you Michelin, and I highly recommend this company for all you tire needs! For many different reasons.
