Sudden reduction in range/charging time

My 2018 Energi was getting between 18 - 19 miles on a charge.  Charge took about 2 hours when using 240V.  Overnight the range reduced to 12 - 13 and charge time to less than an hour.  I suspect bad battery pack and am taking to dealer but was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue?

Winter temps tend to drop the range pretty fast, but not usually that much (unless you are using the heater/defroster a bunch in EV mode).   Charge time of less than 1 hour would indicate battery is not taking much charge.

 

Good luck with the dealer, but don't be surprised if you get the runaround.  Read some of the battery threads from a couple years ago and you'll see some of the frustration others have gotten from this path.  It will also arm you with more ammo of how to fight the service guys who don't know what they're talking about.

Make sure you go to an electric certified dealer.  Standard dealers are not supposed to work on the car because they didn't get their people trained.

Thanks for the responses.  Interestingly the miles slowly increased day by day.  Did take to dealer and they checked it all out under warranty.  Seems to just have been something strange over a period where it didn't get used for a week.  Never had an issue like that with my previous Energi.
