mdntblu Posted October 5, 2018 at 03:36 AM Report Share Posted October 5, 2018 at 03:36 AM I saw an ad on instagram that Ford now has Lane Centering on the new 2019 Edge. This is much different than Lane Keeping Assist as this will keep you in the center of your lane when ACC with stop’n’go is on. I wonder if the hardware is really any different from what my 2018 has with ACC and LKA. https://gyazo.com/7946ec39f792a590670f5bf4afd48b0e
norwestie Posted March 19, 2020 at 08:42 PM Report Share Posted March 19, 2020 at 08:42 PM I was going to create a new post but this is my question, too. My 2017 doesn't seem to do any correction until I'm on the line! I had a 2019 Kia Optima loaner and it kept the car centered without any steering input from me. Is this normal? murphy Posted March 19, 2020 at 09:44 PM Report Share Posted March 19, 2020 at 09:44 PM (edited) If I let it my 2013 it will ping pong back and forth between the lane lines. It's designed to keep you from drifting into an adjacent lane. It is disabled if a turn signal is active. Mandala Posted March 28, 2020 at 03:44 PM Report Share Posted March 28, 2020 at 03:44 PM (edited) You can turn that off by the way ? (talking of the warning but I ended up turning off the lane keep also. Too annoying). By the way it would be wonderful if we could simply update some software to change it. I put new version of Sync in my 2017 Platinum and really enjoy it. Edited March 28, 2020 at 03:47 PM by Mandala
