cngr96 Posted August 19, 2018 at 05:09 AM Report Share Posted August 19, 2018 at 05:09 AM My lease on my 2016 is going to expire in two months. Haven't heard anything about a 2019 version. My wife (and me) really have enjoyed this car, so we want another one if possible. If there is not going to be a 2019, i may consider buying my lease. Thanks, Dan
PJFW8 Posted August 19, 2018 at 02:51 PM Report Share Posted August 19, 2018 at 02:51 PM The 2019 has a battery improvement and about 10% plus range increase. Models have been simplified and platinum trim level is gone.
jsamp Posted August 20, 2018 at 04:00 AM Report Share Posted August 20, 2018 at 04:00 AM They have announced that they will have the Energi for 2019, but no word on when it will be available. Ford is rather late at 2019 production start. Only Mustang and Flex so far on their web site. I think last year Fusion Energi production didn't start until October. murphy Posted August 21, 2018 at 12:17 AM Report Share Posted August 21, 2018 at 12:17 AM I think Ford builds cars for dealer stock first. jeff_h and PJFW8
jsamp Posted August 26, 2018 at 04:06 AM Report Share Posted August 26, 2018 at 04:06 AM (edited) 2019 Fusion now shows up on the Ford web site, but not Fusion Energi. I recall last year the Energi production start lagged significantly behind the std Fusion. I asked InsideEVs if they had any insight as to energi production start date and they do not at this time. Correction: It does not show up under "Hybrids and EVs", but if you select build and price under the standard fusion, it has the option for the energi. I saw a thread on BOF where one guy has an order number and VIN for a 2019 Energi, he notes it was originally and order for a 2018 so maybe there are not many new allocations for dealers yet, who knows... https://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/65546-2019-fusion-energi-order-status/

Doesn't the Energi have an electric heater to begin with?
ptjones Posted August 27, 2018 at 10:05 PM Report Share Posted August 27, 2018 at 10:05 PM If you use the Energi electric heater it draws power from HVB which shortens your EV range and a block heater won't. :) http://fordcmaxenergiforum.com/topic/720-cmax-energi-electric-heat/ Paul
