Sandroad Posted October 21, 2017 at 01:45 AM Report Share Posted October 21, 2017 at 01:45 AM Within the next month, I'll be installing a set of Michelin X-Ice on my Energi. I have used the X-Ice previously on Honda and Subaru vehicles and have been very impressed with their winter behavior here in Michigan. muzicman61 Posted October 22, 2017 at 03:58 PM Report Share Posted October 22, 2017 at 03:58 PM As this will be my first winter, I'm sticking with the stock tires. But that may change for next year depending on how well they handle snow and ice.

4cylinder Posted January 16, 2018 at 05:41 PM Report Share Posted January 16, 2018 at 05:41 PM Driving on snow/ice covered roads, I use Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9 Flat Run. (225-60R17) High five fellow Nokian user! I am driving with those too in Metro Detroit's winter and they are amazing. Have not had a slip warning come on despite my entire townhouse complex being covered in snow. Proves that FWD is perfectly fine in the snow with the right set of tires. TTABONE19 Posted February 2, 2018 at 06:00 PM Report Share Posted February 2, 2018 at 06:00 PM I have X ice on rims off my old Fusion Hybrid. Running the factories this year but good to hear they run well on the Energi. They were great on the Hybrid. Driving to Syracuse NY every day is no joke haha
