Thanks! And, it's "unscheduled clean"! Now I just have to wait for the build. This forum has been a wonderful resource. Really helped me order the car I want at the price I like.

Congratulations... now you get to join the waiting game with the rest of us!

I started another thread on charging stations you might want to check out  http://www.fordfusionenergiforum.com/topic/509-residential-charging-stations-now-what/

If you end up installing a charging station in your garage please let us know your experience. I think I am going to wait for a VIN before I start myself.

Here's my order info.

Just an FYI to everyone, there is currently not any Energi's being shipped yet.  Ford tends to do this with new models.  They don't like shipping to just a few Dealers, they like to have enough to distribute.  Also, keep in mind, just because your car is built, doesn't mean it will ship anytime soon.  I would get excited when your car is on a rail car, this is the only time when you REALLY know that it is coming!

Model:  Energi Ti, White Platinum

Of course, no way of knowing how true this is, but my dealer told me he has been informed by Ford that the first batch of SE's will be at the dealership the last week of February.  And that all built ones so far have been transferred from Mexico to Detroit to wait for dealership shipment.

This is not correct.  No Energi's have been shipped anywhere, they all still show "in plant".  Your salesperson is confused with the Hybrid SE's that were missing headlights and headliners that were delayed (some were shipped to Detroit because they ran out of storage room in Mexico).  However, it only takes 2 weeks to ship, so if they start now, they will make it by the end of the month.

Update 2/21/2013:

My Dealer called today and said the car is going through Trim at the moment, so stuff is being pulled and ready for build.  He'll call me back today / tomorrow to let me know more about potential delivery times, etc.

Update 2/25/2013

Dealer called and said my delivery date is scheduled for 3/7/2013.  He mentioned something about Texas so it is either on its way there or is there.

Welcome to the Forum EnergiManta. I notice, from looking at your window sticker, that your base price, of $40,100, is $100 lower than my base price at $40,200. What's up with that, I wonder?

Good catch PluggedIn, but did you notice yours says that now? I went back and checked a few stickers that I had printed out and they are now changed to $40,100. It must be a price drop, maybe. $100 is not much, but I will take any drop.

I have noticed my sticker has been marked as rebill.  So I am assuming the price change is was what prompted that.  Almost all of the ones my dealer has ordered has stickers that have been updated and marked 4-rebill.

Now sadly my dealer has also been poor w/ ever keeping me updated on build changes (I also recently ordered 2013 Explorer Limited for my wife and was surprised when it was on its way).  I would love to know build date, etc.  Gets tiring hounding them for updates.

No, I had not taken the time to pull mine up again. Thanks for the heads up guys, duly noted

It seems like such a simple process for the dealer to check on the car and let you know, like once a week, what's happening with your order. It just seems they are lazy because my dealer has been really great about letting me know. I mean, I have to call them but they do check and normally get back to me the same day.

The only other alternative you have is to have cyberdman, on the Blue Oval Forum, check on the car for you. Here a link to his post:http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/forum/80-vehicle-locator-by-ford-employees/. You will have to register for the Forum and read the instructions for the post and then you can ask for help.

That's the good news, the bad news is cyberdman in on vacation until 3/4/13. Good luck.

We placed our order on Saturday.  My dealer experience was fantastic.  We had visited 3 other dealers in this quest and the salesman that Shaggy led me to was far and away the best one we dealt with.  He actually knew more about the car than I did, which was a nice change of pace.  Thank you Shaggy.

Of course my wife has already changed her mind about the color.  This could be either good or bad since the dealer has one in the color she changed to on the way already.  Hopefully it's not already bought.  Will find out soon enough.

Also Shaggy if you wouldn't mind PMing me your address I have something I'd like to send you as a thanks.  All your hard work saved me a considerable amount of money and or time and it is very much appreciated.

Also thanks to all the posters here who helped me make a very informed decision.

What are the colors in question? We too had a hard time picking. They all look so good!

We ordered the White Platinum.  Then she realized both my parents drive cars that same color and decided she was too young for it.  Now she wants Ruby Red.

Keep in mind she originally wanted Bordeaux Reserve and I wanted black.  The models on the lot were all dusty and the Ruby Red and Diamond White both looked best a little dirty.  She isn't quite as fanatical about keeping her car as clean as I am, so that helped.

I dumped a lot of info on Bruce. I was constantly telling him stuff about the car... I totally understood it was one model and he has to know 40+ trucks alone. He didn't seem to mind all the facts I was throwing at him. He asked me at one point just how much time had I spent learning about this car, I told him "way too much". I'm glad to have help people save money. Ford has the process mostly stacked against the consumer, so it's only fair we seek out the best deal. While he was happy you drove from SA and past Maxwell to boot, he did mention that you're the last to get that deal that the demand is letting them go back to MSRP for the Energi.  :-(   I hope I can get my coupon added to mine.

I feel even more fortunate now.  Would you mind PMing me your address so I can send you something I picked up for you in Austin this week?

I will also see about having the incentive and coupon added to my order as well.

Hi everyone. Been watching these forums for bit and appreciate how long a lot of you've been waiting. I now know how lucky I was to find a dealer who had ordered the exact car/options we were looking for! Using these forums, I found the Etis website and found my car was built on the 9th of Feb. just got a call from the dealer saying they are told the car is on the ramp awaiting shipment. He thinks 5 or 7 days. Next week!!!? Sweet! I'm still a bit skeptical, but here's hoping for the best!
