No overnight thunderstorms or anything unusual like this. This morning, the car displayed "System shut down to conserve battery", despite being plugged in and the ignition being off overnight. Once we started the car, everything was fine except for the audio system. Now all it will display is "Audio off" and it does not respond to any buttons. Nav on the same screen seems to work fine. They could have easily turned it back on when detecting a low 12 volt battery but that doesn't happen. The ignition was off but most of the microprocessors run 24/7. There was a calibration upgrade that does this. I've caught my car having the EVSE engaged a couple times without having started it, touched MFM, etc. For Vinci, remove the negative 12v battery terminal from the battery for a couple of minutes. After 30 plus years of the first words out of IT support's mouths being "Did you try rebooting?" I can't believe I didn't think along those lines. I was trying to force a restart by downloading an update or resetting to factory settings via the app. Never occurred to me that disconnecting just the 12V battery would reset it, I would have guessed that the main battery needed to be disconnected too.
