dlb92 Posted February 19, 2017 at 08:07 PM Report Share Posted February 19, 2017 at 08:07 PM Check engine light came on and I found this: EV Battery Cell Balancing circuit "J" stuck onAnyone know what this means?
jdbob Posted February 19, 2017 at 08:17 PM Report Share Posted February 19, 2017 at 08:17 PM From the service manual: This DTC indicates cell balance circuit J is stuck closed for 2 consecutive power cycles. CLEAR the DTCs and REPEAT the selftest. If the DTC is still present. INSTALL a new BECM. REFER to: Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) - Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) (414-03A High Voltage Battery, Mounting and Cables, Removal and Installation). You could try clearing the code (if you have the equipment to do that) and power cycle the car. If it's still there sounds like you need a new BECM. dlb92
