Pg3ibew Posted January 17, 2017 at 12:31 AM Report Share Posted January 17, 2017 at 12:31 AM I was curious about the Engine Start Button so I did some reading in the owners manual. It said that if you push the START/STOP button, while the car is running, and as the car is moving and in Drive, the car will automatically switch to neutral and slow automatically until the car came to a complete stop and then the engine would switch off.So, I experimented. Started the car.. Put it in Drive. Held the car stopped with the brakes. Hit the Start/stop button. The car switched from D to N to P, very smoothly. Then I went a small step further. Started the car. Put it in Drive. Let go of the brake. Let the car roll to about 2-3 MPH. Hit the Start/stop button. The car went from D to N to P VERY QUICKLY and LURCHED to a stop. Anyone else try this?Anyone try it at decent speeds? 20? 30? 40?....
