Doc Rock Posted November 6, 2016 at 01:32 AM Report Share Posted November 6, 2016 at 01:32 AM For the second time this week, MFM has gone down during daylight hours on the East Coast. Tuesday, the "maintenance" issue caused a loss of data and non-functionality of both the website and the iPhone app. MFM went down again this afternoon - again, presumably, for "maintenance." The website is back up, but the iPhone app is still non-functional. I logged off my iPhone, then tried to log in. MFM refused to let me log in. No error message, just didn't permit me to log in. Annoying. Very annoying.
murphy Posted November 6, 2016 at 11:04 AM Report Share Posted November 6, 2016 at 11:04 AM I am able to connect to MFM with my iPad but if I select "Vehicle Location" the app, which was updated yesterday, crashes. My android phone gets to an all blue screen and stays there forever.
jeff_h Posted November 6, 2016 at 12:27 PM Report Share Posted November 6, 2016 at 12:27 PM I couldn't connect with laptop (said maintenance was underway) or with mobile app (solid blue screen) last night, this morning both are back to normal for me. murphy Posted November 6, 2016 at 03:01 PM Report Share Posted November 6, 2016 at 03:01 PM I'm still getting the solid blue screen on my Android phone. It shows up right after I enter the 4 digit pin.Hmmm. Rebooting the phone got me in. The Vehicle Locator works on my phone.
Doc Rock Posted November 6, 2016 at 09:04 PM Author Report Share Posted November 6, 2016 at 09:04 PM MFM is now fully-functional on both the website and my iPhone app. However... On my iPhone, MFM does not require me to log in, or, enter my 4-digit PIN. It goes straight to the Home screen when I select the app.
Eric4539 Posted November 7, 2016 at 08:44 PM Report Share Posted November 7, 2016 at 08:44 PM Very strange, the app was working for me all along, and today it does not ask for my 4 digit PIN either.
jeff_h Posted November 8, 2016 at 02:00 AM Report Share Posted November 8, 2016 at 02:00 AM Very strange, the app was working for me all along, and today it does not ask for my 4 digit PIN either. The MFM app on my iPhone 6 has not asked me for my PIN since I got the phone just over a year ago, I assume there was some type of "remember my info" when I first input the info and it's been cached ever since. Eric4539 Posted November 8, 2016 at 06:41 AM Report Share Posted November 8, 2016 at 06:41 AM I have been using an iPhone 6 and a 6 Plus for about a year too, and I've always had to enter my 4 digit code prior to today when it tried the app.
