I bought (~$500) it 3 years ago when my lease started and never had any issues. I can ship, I am in the Austin, TX area. I initially had an electrician friend add the plug to the charger and add the outlet in my garage. Then I built a new house and wired that garage as well. Very convenient and much quicker charging than 110.
