mikenmar Posted May 29, 2016 at 12:25 AM Report Share Posted May 29, 2016 at 12:25 AM (edited) I had to make a service appointment with my local dealer (Albany Ford), and there was a 10-day wait for an open slot. There's a problem with the car, and it's still under warranty. I looked up the Ford dealers' franchise agreement, and it requires dealers to provide prompt service for cars under warranty. What's a reasonable time to wait for an appointment? If 10 days isn't unreasonable, what is? 20 days? A month? murphy Posted May 29, 2016 at 12:59 AM Report Share Posted May 29, 2016 at 12:59 AM Dealer's do their own thing. They would much rather sell oil changes to people that don't need it than do warranty work. Hybridbear

mikenmar Posted May 30, 2016 at 02:29 AM Author Report Share Posted May 30, 2016 at 02:29 AM (edited) After talking with other Ford owners, it appears this is a fairly widespread problem. Edited May 31, 2016 at 02:34 AM by mikenmar
