murphy Posted May 26, 2016 at 10:17 AM Report Share Posted May 26, 2016 at 10:17 AM I use a Blackvue 600 in my Fusion and a Blackvue 650 in my other car. They are way beyond your $50 limit. They have GPS stamping of every frame.
jeff_h Posted May 26, 2016 at 11:59 AM Report Share Posted May 26, 2016 at 11:59 AM I had a Garmin 20 ($249) that only lasted about 18 months, so I replaced it with a Dexors X7 ($109) which also has GPS capability and has been great for 6 months thus far. Time will tell how long it lasts but it was less than half as much as the Garmin.

Here's a clip that I captured with it, shows that it does OK with the video at night... better than the deer does. But don't worry, when I came back through on my afternoon commute the deer was gone so it got up and ran away after the dizziness wore off I suppose. bwheetley Posted August 4, 2016 at 06:40 PM Report Share Posted August 4, 2016 at 06:40 PM I have a Blackvue 650 2 Channel. It's more than what you budget allows, but I got it because it has front and rear facing cameras. I've had it about 8 months now and works great so far.
