Did we just lose 2 miles?[/size]Nope, those 2 miles were lost about 1.5 years ago when Ford adjusted their EPA MPG estimates downward. They sent out checks in the mail for compensation. EnergiCCAATS Posted January 12, 2016 at 02:46 PM Report Share Posted January 12, 2016 at 02:46 PM (edited) Ford Unveils Smartest, Most Technology-Packed Fusion Ever, Including Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid Versions of New Sedan Yeah, thanks for the "tease" Ford. Very disappointed. Why put the ENERGI under the "tarp" to tease the NAIAS unveiling, and then have absolutely ZERO technological improvements on the ENERGI powertrain? I know, I know....gas is under $2/gallon, so management doesn't give a crap about the electrified product line (except when talking to their government lobby), but can Ford not at least keep up with Hyundai and GMs plug-in offerings? I wasn't really expecting any improvement in the Energi powertrain for the "mid-cycle refresh", but for them to put the Energi under the tarp and tease that there was some big improvement was uncalled for. EnergiCCAATS Posted January 12, 2016 at 04:35 PM Report Share Posted January 12, 2016 at 04:35 PM I don't want to be a complete Debbie Downer though. Kudos to Ford for including LED DRLs, LED fogs and the surprising LED headlights on the mid-cycle refresh. Also pleasantly surprised it's available in a wider range or lower trim models. Now, if we could just get rid of that pesky chrome tailpipe sticking out of the back of an ELECTRIC car, lol. Couldn't they have just hid it under the fascia?
