openair Posted November 24, 2015 at 03:34 PM Report Share Posted November 24, 2015 at 03:34 PM Does anyone have a service manual? If so, what does the service manual say about the orange wrench for a powertrain fault? The 2014 owners manual isn't specific about the light staying on or continuing to come on. A post on the fusion hybrid owners forum says that the 2012 service manual specially says "the light stays on or continues to come on." Can anyone confirm the 2013 and or newer service manual says the same?
seadiel Posted December 1, 2015 at 06:14 PM Report Share Posted December 1, 2015 at 06:14 PM I don't have a service manual. You will probably need to go to the dealership and see what they say the error is. You can hold down the left "OK" button on the steering wheel and then start the car and go into the engineering mode and see what error codes it lists. openair Posted December 2, 2015 at 12:22 AM Author Report Share Posted December 2, 2015 at 12:22 AM It had been to a couple dealerships multiple times. Each time they said there were no error codes so they did nothing. Just today it occurred while a dealership was still open. They did find an error code while the orange wrench was still on and will now finally do something more than nothing. Fat Fusion Posted December 2, 2015 at 01:52 AM Report Share Posted December 2, 2015 at 01:52 AM What was the code? I keep a cheap code reader in my car.
