Does the navigation system show the elevation while car is moving?

Hi. I have a 2013 FFE Titanium. I seldom use the navigation system but am curious if there is an easy way to see what elevation the car is at while the car is moving. My battery range is killed when I'm heading home because my house is at about 2400' above sea level. I wanted to try different routes to see if maybe one might be better than another at staying fairly level. I know the last mile before my house is straight up a hill so I'm stuck with that, but I would like to see if maybe there is a better route before I get to that last mile.

On the other hand, I get great mileage when leaving my house and headed away from home because it's all downhill. I always have more miles showing on the battery after 10 miles than when I pulled out of my garage. (I know the miles showing on the battery icon is a very vague guideline.) Thanks.

Check out this thread for more information. It is not as easy to get to on cars with nav.

Edit: post 32 describes how to view this data for cars with navigation.
