cegarbage Posted September 13, 2015 at 07:33 PM Report Share Posted September 13, 2015 at 07:33 PM A few months ago I got an android update for the ford app and it said google voice support. I'm trying to view my texts and make outgoing calls showing my google hangouts/voice id and still don't have any luck. The only way I can make a call showing my google voice ID is if I initiate in the car via hangouts (on the phone) instead of the car touch screen. Has anyone got it to work? meyersnole Posted September 22, 2015 at 11:12 AM Report Share Posted September 22, 2015 at 11:12 AM Since this question is more generic to SYNC rather than specific to this car you might want to ask your question on the Ford SYNC forum as well http://fordsyncforum.com/ When you get your answer, please share the solution here. Russael Posted September 22, 2015 at 12:34 PM Report Share Posted September 22, 2015 at 12:34 PM I wish the Tag feature (for the sound system) worked on more than just Apple products. :drop: Stored one the other day for the first time and it is impossible to retrieve without an IPhone, IPod, etc.

Russael Posted September 25, 2015 at 04:12 PM Report Share Posted September 25, 2015 at 04:12 PM For HD radio or Sirius, if a song that plays has the metadata for it (shows you song name, artist, etc), a tag button shows up while you have the sound system as the screen focus. If you press the tag button, it'll save that metadata to your IPod/IPhone. You take your player to ITunes, and it'll pop a new category to show what song you tagged so you can choose to buy it. openair Posted September 25, 2015 at 04:25 PM Report Share Posted September 25, 2015 at 04:25 PM If it's largely an iTunes feature, it not working with non apple products is no fault of ford or Microsoft. It is likely deliberately designed that way by Apple
