AnneSoCali Posted August 8, 2015 at 05:42 PM Report Share Posted August 8, 2015 at 05:42 PM Hi everyone - I just got my 2015 Fusion Energi Titanium two days ago. I had a 2014 Fusion Hybrid Titanium and loved the gas mileage so much, I thought this time around I'll go for the Energi. Although they look identical (I got the same color, Ingot Silver), so far I see a big difference in the way they drive. I absolutely LOVE driving in EV mode. Such a smooth ride, it's so fun! Looking forward to reading posts here to learn more about getting the best mpg I can. Anne
jeff_h Posted August 8, 2015 at 06:05 PM Report Share Posted August 8, 2015 at 06:05 PM Welcome -- I did the same thing in 2013, went from a Fusion Hybrid (had it for a year) to Fusion Energi in the same color... Hybridbear
storksb Posted August 8, 2015 at 06:24 PM Report Share Posted August 8, 2015 at 06:24 PM Welcome to the forum. I like Jeff also went front a FFH to a FFE, took me just over 2years to upgrade though. Wonder how many other FFE owners came from FFH's Hybridbear
murphy Posted August 8, 2015 at 07:03 PM Report Share Posted August 8, 2015 at 07:03 PM I bought a 2010 Fusion hybrid in April 2009. I replaced it with 2013 Fusion Energi in April 2013. I filled the tank in June 2014. It is currently 1/3 full. All of my driving in the Energi is local. The engine usually only runs in the winter time. I have 10 kW of solar panels on the roof of my house. I haven't sent any money to the power company since they were installed. It costs me nothing to operate the car. Well maybe $1.99 for a gallon of windshield washer fluid. I always get the question about the break even point for the panels. I have no idea and don't really care. It was an improvement to the house and will pay me back if I ever sell the house. jeff_h and Hybridbear
JATR4 Posted August 8, 2015 at 08:17 PM Report Share Posted August 8, 2015 at 08:17 PM I had a 2014 FFH and traded for a 2013 FFE. You will find that even when driving in hybrid with the FFE it is different than the FFH. Hybridbear
Hybridbear Posted August 9, 2015 at 12:25 PM Report Share Posted August 9, 2015 at 12:25 PM We had a 2013 FFH and now have a 2013 Energi. The Energi is a much nicer car to drive.
