fpliptak Posted June 24, 2015 at 10:14 PM Report Share Posted June 24, 2015 at 10:14 PM Recently I have been getting trips that have been mostly battery but the the % EV, kWh, EV Miles, MPG, Brake Score and Regen Miles are showing 0. These trips have been after a full charge and the next (return trip) show normal values. Has anyone else seen this?
jeff_h Posted June 24, 2015 at 10:27 PM Report Share Posted June 24, 2015 at 10:27 PM There have been a few threads here and there on this, and general culprit has tended to be turning the car back on right after you turn it off, thus interrupting the sending of the trip data back to the MFM server. For example, take a trip and shut down and open the car door and say "oops, need to roll the windows up" and start car again long enough to roll up the windows and then shuf down again. That interrupts the normal process of reporting the trip data back to MFM and thus one or more zero values are shown. At least that's the theory and in several cases the owner may think back and say oh yeah I did start back up briefly, so while it's not a definite that this was the cause, it's a guess that has been in the case for others in the past. murphy Posted June 24, 2015 at 11:47 PM Report Share Posted June 24, 2015 at 11:47 PM That has happened to me. Once you turn the car off, do not turn it back on. Unfortunately I don't know how long to wait for the data to be transmitted.
rbort Posted June 25, 2015 at 02:45 AM Report Share Posted June 25, 2015 at 02:45 AM I would wait at least 2 minutes. -=>Raja.
Hybridbear Posted June 25, 2015 at 03:38 AM Report Share Posted June 25, 2015 at 03:38 AM Opening MFM right after shutting off the car can also cause this. Sometimes I'm logged in to MFM while my wife is out driving and if she shuts off the car while I'm logged in the data may fail like this.
