murphy Posted June 10, 2015 at 06:36 PM Report Share Posted June 10, 2015 at 06:36 PM I was trying to skip this mornings GO time but MFM could not connect to the car. I tried last night and again this morning with no response. MFM still showed the charging cable connected to the car. I had disconnected it when charging finished two days ago. I grabbed the remote and pushed the lock button a few times. MFM then was able to connect to the car right away. Apparently the cell radio goes to sleep and isn't always waiting for a connection. :(
Hybridbear Posted June 11, 2015 at 02:29 AM Report Share Posted June 11, 2015 at 02:29 AM This happens occasionally to us too. Usually remote starting with the fob will work best to wake it up.
kellerb Posted May 27, 2018 at 10:12 PM Report Share Posted May 27, 2018 at 10:12 PM Is there a way to prevent the car from going into Sleep mode? I've had the car for 4 years and this just started happening a month ago. I had the ACIM? replaced, recently. Could this have been the cause? murphy Posted May 27, 2018 at 11:17 PM Author Report Share Posted May 27, 2018 at 11:17 PM The car goes into sleep mode when the 12 volt battery gets too low. Have your 12 volt battery load tested. After 4 years you probably need a new one.
