mdvelez2002 Posted May 24, 2015 at 04:35 AM Report Share Posted May 24, 2015 at 04:35 AM Hey guys, I recently purchased a 2016 black Ford Fusion Energi Titanium. I absolutely love the car but I was disappointed when I found out the stroller for my child would not fit in the trunk or even the front seat. I searched far and wide across the internet to see if anyone had posted a compatible stroller that is sturdy and could fit in the trunk but I was not able to find any posts. After doing some research, I found a stroller that fits perfectly in the trunk. It's almost like it was made for it because it only fits in one direction. It's the Chico Lite Way plus stroller. I think there are various versions of this stroller and they are likely the same size but mine is the "equinox" one. I was so excited to see it fit perfectly in the trunk that I thought I would post on this forum and post the picture. Hope this helps someone else out there with the same problem that I had. Platinum15Ti Posted May 25, 2015 at 01:51 AM Report Share Posted May 25, 2015 at 01:51 AM I had the same issue with our Britax stroller. Thanks for the info!
Kybuck Posted May 25, 2015 at 06:08 AM Report Share Posted May 25, 2015 at 06:08 AM I was able to fit a standard Graco stroller, but I had to remove the wheels. So I had to keep a tool in the trunk so I could reattach the wheels at my destination, and then remove them again before heading home. I've also fit a Bob stroller in the back seat. edwarj3 Posted May 26, 2015 at 01:50 PM Report Share Posted May 26, 2015 at 01:50 PM The Baby Jogger City Mini will also fit at least in the 2013 trunk. You have to put the front wheel on the bottom and put one of the side wheels on top of the battery. FelicityFusion17

When i saw the title i thought "I have to post my findings!" but then read your post, and you ended up exactly where I did! The difference is we HAD the stroller already, and decided that if the stroller wouldn't fit in the truck, then we would NOT buy the car. The first try it didn't fit at all, then with some re-arranging how I placed it it went in fine.Good info on the City Mini also edwarj3, we have a Phil & Teds for a jogger/main stroller, and it doesn't fit in truck even with the wheels off. It does go behind the driver seat just find standing up though, but now with 2 kids and 2 car seats thats not an option.
