Platinum15Ti Posted March 19, 2015 at 07:55 PM Report Share Posted March 19, 2015 at 07:55 PM I had H&R springs installed yesterday. I'm happy with the amount it lowered it and it doesn't ride much different than stock. Much smoother than my 2014 Titanium Ecoboost with Eibach springs. I also debadged the doors and tinted the windows (5% all but windshield, 35% entire windshield) .

Platinum15Ti Posted September 15, 2015 at 12:09 AM Author Report Share Posted September 15, 2015 at 12:09 AM In photos, it's not always easy to see the gap with the tires against black wheel wells, but I was playing with the Photoshop app on my phone and it shows it pretty well. Platinum15Ti Posted September 15, 2015 at 03:11 PM Author Report Share Posted September 15, 2015 at 03:11 PM Came outside and found another white Fusion parked next to me. Mine looks small compared to a standard height car Rexracer

Platinum15Ti Posted September 16, 2015 at 01:09 AM Author Report Share Posted September 16, 2015 at 01:09 AM I'm not sure, I had them put on my first tank so didn't really have enough miles to compare. I doubt it though. Rexracer
Rexracer Posted September 17, 2015 at 10:19 PM Report Share Posted September 17, 2015 at 10:19 PM have you had any problem scrapping the front more? I guess you didn't have the car long before lowering it so probably hard to say. I know i currently scrap on curbs/dips in driveways far more then I would like, but I also don't drive the car like its "lowered". Im far more careful with my Vette, because I know its low. lonzo71
Platinum15Ti Posted September 18, 2015 at 06:18 PM Author Report Share Posted September 18, 2015 at 06:18 PM Yes, definitely. The black plastic piece scrapes on everything, but I'm not worried about that. I just don't want to scrape the actual bumper/paint. I've lowered just about all my cars over the years, including my Corvette.
Bud Posted October 26, 2015 at 04:21 AM Report Share Posted October 26, 2015 at 04:21 AM What is the difference from stock height? Did you take any measurements from the tires to the wheel well?
Platinum15Ti Posted October 26, 2015 at 03:33 PM Author Report Share Posted October 26, 2015 at 03:33 PM I didn't measure before and after, but should have. It's low... But I think it looks and handle much better without sacrificing much ride quality.

From the picture it appears your tire edge is above the lip. The clearance right now, stock, is a good two inches between the top tire edge and the wheel well lip. Platinum15Ti Posted October 26, 2015 at 11:45 PM Author Report Share Posted October 26, 2015 at 11:45 PM The back seems to be even or tuck slightly. If I did it again I'd put a small shim or spacer in the rear. I can measure later or tomorrow and then you can measure yours. You can tell in the photo where there is another one next to me, mine is much lower.
Platinum15Ti Posted October 27, 2015 at 12:33 AM Author Report Share Posted October 27, 2015 at 12:33 AM Probably not super accurate since it's dark out, but I'd say from the bottom center of the wheel lip to the tire is about 2 inches in front and 1 inch in the rear. Curious what it is from the factory. SuPaTooX

jh87 Posted December 4, 2015 at 02:52 PM Report Share Posted December 4, 2015 at 02:52 PM (edited) Sounds good. Will check the clearance on mine this morning The clearance is 2.5" front and backThe back is apparently dropped more than the front. you can see it in last two of the first set pictures by looking at the well shadow shape upon the tires. The HR spring never officially designed for the energi, which is much more heavier in the back due to its battery. there is no way the clearance is the same for front and back. How do I know? I have them for 2 years now. It looks and handles better but I just wish there is something specificlly designed for our energi.
