I wanted to make sure there was enough charge in the 12V battery to wake up the car & remote start it. This action triggered more low 12V battery texts & e-mails. Overnight I hooked up my battery charger to the 12V posts under the hood. This morning the 12V SOC reported by the BCM was 23%. The chimes for the front & rear sensors sounded different. The dash dimming had also been reset to the brightest setting. Today I have the Fusion so I'm not as concerned as the last two days where I needed the Focus Electric so my wife was driving the Fusion. I log the 12V SOC along with the HVB data when leaving after each full charge. The BCM has typically reported a 12V SOC range from about 80-85%, depending on how much the car has been driven. From Sunday night to Monday the car charged, but the 12V SOC dropped from 84% on Sunday afternoon to 61% on Monday morning. Monday morning is when the low 12V messages started coming from MFM, even though the BCM showed an SOC of 61%. It appears that something happened on Sunday to cause the power draw.
