Hybridbear Posted February 15, 2015 at 05:32 PM Report Share Posted February 15, 2015 at 05:32 PM (edited) There's no rush. Just let me know if you need assistance with anything. :) KimThe Focus Electric still doesn't work. The error I get can be seen in the pic below. I think the federal specification that mandated TPMS says when it is 25% low. That would be 26.25 or lower. It's a gross error measurement which is not useful for keeping the tires inflated. The actual pressures are available with a bluetooth OBD II interface and the Forscan Windows software. That's a major inconvenience using a laptop to check tire pressures. It could have easily been included in the user interface.Torque Pro can also be used if you have the needed PIDs. This is what I use. It really has helped me to appreciate the impact of temperature on tire pressure. Leaving home in the morning from our heated underground garage with the tires at about 65-70 F the pressures are around 41. When the car sits outside in single digit weather all day at work the pressures are around 37 when going home. The tire pressure drops about 1 PSI for every 10 F drop in temperature. Thanks, openair! Click on the picture and it gets bigger. It looks like the photo may be added from Photobucket. Unfortunately, I'm blocked from viewing the picture from my work computer. I remember speaking with you a few months back on the Ford Fusion Hybrid Forum about the Focus. Since I already have your information, I'm going to send you a PM on this forum just to verify a few things. Keep an eye out! :) Kim
murphy Posted February 18, 2015 at 03:35 PM Author Report Share Posted February 18, 2015 at 03:35 PM I started this thread 10 days ago because two VHRs that I ran never showed up.Today at 7:40 AM and 7:46 AM I received notifications via text and email that a VHR was available on the website. The VHR on the website was the last one that I ran on 2/10 so at least the newest one was not replaced with older ones. :detective: :headscratch: :redcard:

Next day did the same with her car, got home and no email... logged into syncmyride and nada. Then 4 days later the notice shows up in email and clicked the link and went to VHR and all was well. Why it spent 4 days in the twilight zone I have no idea.

When a Photobucket pic is embedded full-size in a post are you able to view it (like below)? I didn't post the pic full-size because some users don't like that so I've tried to start doing thumbnails instead. I didn't realize that the thumbnail prevented you from viewing it, sorry! Hybridbear Posted February 21, 2015 at 08:42 PM Report Share Posted February 21, 2015 at 08:42 PM At Kim's suggestion, I navigated via the i to "Apps" and then ran a VHR. It worked. I don't know if it was because of accessing it a different way or if the previous issues I had were due to a problem outside the car. Sounds like maybe a software bug that will be work fine once your car gets the next Sync upgrade(?)

I just pulled up your account to verify that it did go through. I'm not sure why the voice command isn't being accepted, but I'm glad to hear that the report finally went through. I would normally recommend performing a master reset in an attempt to resolve this, but I know you're worried about losing the MyFord Mobile settings. In case you do decide to perform the master reset, I wanted to leave you with a link to the instructions at least: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/perform-master-reset-sync-myford-touch Kim Hybridbear
