I'd like to heat the car w/ gas, not electric when I want to start it up in the morning. It seems that whether or not the car was turned off in EV later/auto/EV, it defaults to EV when it starts. When the car is plugged in, engine doesn't turn on and I see my EV miles depleted when I get into the car. Would like to just use gas for the 15 minutes it will take to warm up the inside. I've a 2014 fusion energi that was recently brought in for one of the recalls and it looks like the computer(s) were re-programmed. I haven't tried to start it and heat it up w/ remote starter since the reprogramming.
