wmmallette Posted October 25, 2014 at 01:54 AM Report Share Posted October 25, 2014 at 01:54 AM How can i know if the tax credit is still available? I sort of remember that the availability of the $4007 tax credit was tied to national sales number. i dont remember the figure. How can i find the number and find out if the sales have exceeded that number yet? any help is appreciated. i love this forum . . . great information! -Mickey
Eric4539 Posted October 25, 2014 at 02:47 AM Report Share Posted October 25, 2014 at 02:47 AM Hey Mickey, There are several sites you can check. The Energi's are far from the phase out for this tax credit: http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/taxphevb.shtml The IRS site is a little more tedious to work through but here is the link, just get to the Qualified Vehicles Link and then Ford Motor Company. You'll see the 3 Ford vehicles listed: http://www.irs.gov/Businesses/Plug-In-Electric-Vehicle-Credit-(IRC-30-and-IRC-30D) This link will show you if your state is offering additional credits or rebates: http://www.plugincars.com/federal-and-local-incentives-plug-hybrids-and-electric-cars.html wmmallette and Hybridbear
