eric_n_dfw Posted September 1, 2014 at 12:50 PM Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 at 12:50 PM I'm seeing what appears to be a bug in the MyFordMobile data from our FFE. Last night my wife drove a short distance all on EV, the MFM site shows 21.5% drop in the SOC and she said the gas engine did not come on. I captured the web service JSON response, pertinent info pasted below: "beginsoc": "100", "endsoc": "78.5", "distance": "7", "energyconsumedl": "0", "energyconsumedkwh": "0", "efficiency": "0", "efficiencyuom": "W_UOM_MPG_V2", "regendist": "0", "regenpct": "0", "drivingscore": "81.7", "drivingscoreuom": "%", "evtripdist": "0", Sent the info to the Ford feedback email - is there a better bug reporting link or is that it? I hope it's some bug in the web service code and not in the car -> Ford reporting system, because the later would render all of the MFM reporting suspect. larryh Posted September 1, 2014 at 01:09 PM Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 at 01:09 PM (edited) Is the issue that the energy consumed is 0.0 kWh along with 0 regen distance and 0 ev distance? After turning the car off, if you turn it back on again too soon before it has had a change to transmit the data, the car will report incorrect information to the MyFord Mobile server. You can report the problem via this forum to FordService. Edited September 1, 2014 at 01:09 PM by larryh
eric_n_dfw Posted September 1, 2014 at 05:24 PM Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 at 05:24 PM I don't think my wife stopped and started the car up too quickly - she drove to the grocery store and was there for quite a while. I'll send FordService the message, thanks.
eric_n_dfw Posted September 1, 2014 at 05:27 PM Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 at 05:27 PM Oh, and yes, the site is saying 0% EV when it should be 100%
larryh Posted September 1, 2014 at 05:37 PM Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 at 05:37 PM (edited) Mostly this occurs when you turn the car off and then decide you need to turn it back on again to roll up the windows, or you push the button to turn it off more than once. Russael Posted September 1, 2014 at 05:42 PM Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 at 05:42 PM I can also confirm that issue. Got to the grocery store, forgot to roll up windows. Turned car on within a few seconds of turning it off, and it botched my trip score, stating I had 0% EV. jeff_h
eric_n_dfw Posted September 1, 2014 at 06:18 PM Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2014 at 06:18 PM Didn't do any of these things but even if we had, it seems like a bug nonetheless.
