Calling all Cars! We are looking for Maryland/Virginia/DC (or further) EVs and PHEVs owners to participate in our Saturday, September 20, 2014 National Drive Electric Week event. This is going to be a fun event!   

 

This event is being run by Poolesville Green in conjunction with Poolesville Day, an annual celebration with a variety of food and many activities that typically draws upwards of 10,000 people. Poolesville Day is kicked off with a parade and Poolesville Green has participated in the parade the past two years by having a line of Electric Vehicles in the parade. Let us know if you'd like to participate in the parade. You would need to arrive by 9:00 am to line up. The parade starts at 10:00 am. The NDEW Show will begin at 11:30. There will be prizes and hope to have T-Shirts for participants. Please let us know if you would like to offer rides/drives to show guest.

We have made arrangements with local residents who own EVs to allow charging at their homes if needed. Let us know if you would like to take advantage of this offer.
