jlpenergi Posted July 23, 2014 at 08:59 PM Report Share Posted July 23, 2014 at 08:59 PM I'm totally new to this segment of the automotive industry and realize I have a lot of studying to do! I will be reviewing all the info here before I become active in the forums but just wanted to say hello. I will however take this opportunity to comment that I would have never had any interest in the plug-in hybrid, hybrid, or EV market if Ford had not produced a practical, attractive, everyday car that just happens to be a plug-in hybrid. Tip of the cap to Ford. meyersnole, rtshinn and Griff

Tip of the cap to Ford. You are correct! I liked the Fusion, first. Then they made it plug-in hybrid. It then began beckoning to me, in my sleep..... Volleyguy Posted July 25, 2014 at 11:44 AM Report Share Posted July 25, 2014 at 11:44 AM I agree! I wanted a car I liked first that happened to be a plug in. I wanted a Tesla MS but at 2x the cost of the Fusion and being from Canada and no Super Chargers for over 2,000 miles in Canada fully electric has a price in a little hard to work with. The Fusion is a very nice car maybe our family favourite we have owned and last two cars were a BMW 325ci and Mercedes E class. I really like the car! Not the sportiest suspension but the car was made for comfort which it excels. The Fusion has reduced our gas consumption by 80% and we have saved enough CO2 from going into the atmosphere to fill a hot air balloon in month. No1hedberg Posted August 5, 2014 at 05:01 AM Report Share Posted August 5, 2014 at 05:01 AM I got mine in June and I'm up to the blimp. It's almost silly how happy I am when I hit one of these milestones. So far I've saved 81 gallons of gas, which roughly equates to $310.00. I love this car. I wish I'd bought one sooner.
