mikieg Posted July 16, 2014 at 06:51 PM Report Share Posted July 16, 2014 at 06:51 PM When I bought my Energi this week I interpreted the window sticker item listed as "Power Folding Heated Mirror" as meaning the side mirrors can be folded with the flip of a switch. Imagine my surprise when I found out the mirrors are plain old manual fold. I'm bummed because I could really use this feature as I have a narrow garage opening. I was wondering if the nomenclature for the line item on the sticker is a holdover from an earlier Fusion model which did have power folding mirrors. Does anybody know? Russael Posted July 16, 2014 at 07:37 PM Report Share Posted July 16, 2014 at 07:37 PM I can see that the phrasing is bad. But no, the Fusions never had mirrors that could fold themselves in via a switch. They are powered mirrors (meaning you can make visual adjustments) and they do (manually) fold. That was what it meant. Hybridbear
HotLap Posted August 21, 2014 at 03:56 AM Report Share Posted August 21, 2014 at 03:56 AM LOL, that wording got me too...spent 15 minutes trying to find the power fold switch...my Platinum had them and they are a nice option.
wazer Posted August 21, 2014 at 10:11 PM Report Share Posted August 21, 2014 at 10:11 PM They may have fixed that wording for the 2015 model year, as my sticker says MIRRORS-MAN FOLD DUAL PWR HEATED WITH APPROACH LAMP. Hybridbear
parquedematt Posted August 25, 2014 at 04:02 AM Report Share Posted August 25, 2014 at 04:02 AM Add me to the list of confused owners. I kept trying different switches and finally decided to google it (which brought me to this thread). Yah, too bad they're not, would have been a nice feature
