musicmafia Posted July 2, 2014 at 02:54 AM Report Share Posted July 2, 2014 at 02:54 AM (edited) Does anyone know the exact differences in the leather sport "performance" seats option in the 2015 FFET versus the standard leather sport seats? Is this just a trim / appearance thing or are the seats actually different? Edited July 2, 2014 at 09:32 PM by musicmafia
wazer Posted July 2, 2014 at 08:43 PM Report Share Posted July 2, 2014 at 08:43 PM They're actually different. I've noticed the SE Luxury seats are a bit softer, while the Titanium Sport seats are firmer and the sides of the seat hold you in better. Titanium seats are also perforated to accommodate the optional cooled seating.
musicmafia Posted July 2, 2014 at 09:36 PM Author Report Share Posted July 2, 2014 at 09:36 PM I edited my question to clarify.....these are seat options in the 2015 FFET...the standard seats are listed as leather sport seats (same as 2014) but there is a leather "performance" sport seat option and they look more like a bucket seat or maybe just has an additional bolster on the side... Few pics, hard to tell... I want the one that is more comfortable.....

Eric4539 Posted July 2, 2014 at 10:12 PM Report Share Posted July 2, 2014 at 10:12 PM According to Ford there is no difference between the Sport and Performance seats. That was from a chat with Ford. I don't think this chat representative even knew what I was talking about. From what I can tell Sport seats might be referring to the type of leather seats found in the current SE model. The Sport Performance or Performance seats are the type found in the current Titanium models. Not sure why Ford uses those terms separately and together when listing the seat options. It is very confusing.
wazer Posted July 2, 2014 at 10:12 PM Report Share Posted July 2, 2014 at 10:12 PM They're the same. One is just associated with cooled seats, while the other is not.
musicmafia Posted July 2, 2014 at 10:38 PM Author Report Share Posted July 2, 2014 at 10:38 PM LOL I hear ya! Unfortunately this seems to be a new 2015 option and the dealer doesn't know the difference or have anything for me to put my butt in ;)

Wazer, there are only a couple small pics available but they clearly look like different seats...I will try and post the pics but this forum is often glitchy for me in both IE and Firefox
