Weird Glitch with MFM App

My wife got a scare yesterday.  She was at work and plugged-in, and realized she had never gotten a notification that the car was fully charged.  She checked the MFM app on her iPhone from her office and got "Ruby is out and about" and a battery range of -1 miles".  She freaked out, called me and said "I am rushing to the parking deck now.....has someone stolen my car?"  I told her it was probably a "glitch" in the MFM communication due to thunderstorms in the area.  Thankfully, when she got to the parking deck, her car was still there and plugged in - fully charged (with 27 mile range btw).  Has anyone else seen something like this happen with MFM?

The app will display the last known status of the vehicle. The vehicle status will update when the vehicle is started, or shut off, or when one manually requests an update through the app.

If there is poor cell coverage, the current status will not be accurately displayed. Instead, the app will display the last known status of the vehicle which is stored in the cloud.

In the case you describe, it's possible the status did not change when the vehicle was turned off due to weak coverage and therefore continued to display the last known status, which was out and about.
