wmmallette Posted May 18, 2014 at 06:57 AM Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 at 06:57 AM Is the cruise control on the 2014 FFE the "eco-cruise control" as in the FFH? I know the FFE has the optional adaptive cruise feature, but this is not what I am asking about. The eco cruise is supposed to more slowly accelerate to the set speed when going up hills or when resuming speed in order to prevent that stomping the accellerator effect with traditional cruise controls. Thanks! Mickey
meyersnole Posted May 18, 2014 at 11:40 AM Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 at 11:40 AM I have a 2013, but on my car I can turn off or on the adaptive or ECO modes on the cruise control. I think that if you have cruise control you would have the option for ECO mode. Maybe someone with a 2014 can weigh in, but I would not think that they would change this. blars Posted May 18, 2014 at 03:36 PM Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 at 03:36 PM I have a 2014 and use the Eco cruise all the time...its the "cheater" way to get back up to speed without having to worry about losing accel points. Not sure if you can turn that mode on and off...I always thought that having cc rev up to get back up to speed was kind of stupid.
Kybuck Posted May 19, 2014 at 03:26 AM Report Share Posted May 19, 2014 at 03:26 AM I came across the option once on my 2014 to turn ECO cruise off. I can't remember exactly which menu it was under, but I do remember that it was there. I don't have adaptive cruise, so it's should be an option on all Fusion Energis.
