Collection of TSBs thread locked?

Why is the pinned thread locked at the top of this forum?

 

Where is the best place to go to find all TSB's before bringing in the car for service?

Because it is just a list of TSBs.  No comments are needed or wanted in that list.

How about TSBs AFTER the time the thread was locked?

 

Unless this is being updated each time one comes out and THEN it is locked?

Any of the moderators can update the thread if a new TSB is discovered. 

That is unlikely to happen since Ford sealed off the loophole that allowed TSB's to be viewed by anyone.

Now only Ford employees and dealers can see them.

So we are at the mercy of the service guys to find out if there is a TSB, eh?

 

That kind of stinks.

It does stink because the community knew what was needed before the service department did... Half the time, the service center would argue with the customer over what was needed, but lo and behold, the fix the customer brought with them took care of the issue.  Now, we have to rely on the service department to diagnose and troubleshoot (which the track record I've seen on the forum isn't very good, especially since the car is pretty rare).

When I've found a new one I've been unlocking the topic, adding (and updating the first post), and then locking again.

 

However, sadly the fordservicecontent.com where these TSBs could be found is no longer available publicly, at least not how I used to get them.  I sent a note to Ashley asking for assistance since it's great info for concerned owners, reply was that the site was intended for dealers only.  So much for concerned owners...

 

So I don't expect there will be much updating to that topic, but if I do find any additional ones I will definitely post them.
