Gigi Posted April 13, 2014 at 03:02 AM Report Share Posted April 13, 2014 at 03:02 AM I am looking at a FFH Titanium or FFH SE for a company car for 35,000+ miles a year. Which seat would you rather be sitting in for as far as 400 miles at a stretch, the soft ceramic leather in the Titanium or the dune leather in the SE? I just got back from a 1,200 mile trip broken into four segments in my FFEnergi SE and I was pretty comfortable, but the seat was starting to feel thin. The Titanium seat feels firmer, but does it stay that way? I'm wondering if it's worth it to get the more expensive Titanium.
Christian Rutherford Posted April 25, 2014 at 02:35 PM Report Share Posted April 25, 2014 at 02:35 PM I ordered the SE specifically because the seats were so much more comfortable than the Titanium. In fact they are the most comfortable car seats I've ever sat on. IMO
phineasfusion Posted May 7, 2014 at 01:10 PM Report Share Posted May 7, 2014 at 01:10 PM I had this same question during the purchase process. I went with the Titanium and after the first month I have no complaints. Very supportive and comfortable on a 30 minute commute.
GregKet1 Posted October 8, 2014 at 08:41 PM Report Share Posted October 8, 2014 at 08:41 PM I've had my 2013 Ti for about 8000 miles now. I really wish I had gone with the SE. I'm pushing 225 pounds and the sport seats are too narrow at the bolsters so my lower back gets sore. I've been thinking about taking them to an upholstery shop to get them modified to be a bit wider and a bit softer. Honestly, who needs "sport seats" in a car that rides/handles more like a towncar than a mustang.
Rexracer Posted October 9, 2014 at 09:18 PM Report Share Posted October 9, 2014 at 09:18 PM I have 10k on my 2013 Ti. For pure comfort I think the SE's are a little softer, but I find the sport seats nicely formed. I also am ~225lbs, and don't think they are to narrow. I leave for a 800 mile trip done in 2 legs, so will report back if I still feel that way when done.
