MFT Screen Brightness Control

On Page 361 of the user manual, it states that one can adjust the screen display brightness by going into the "Display" tab of the "Settings" screen. However, on my FFE, it does not have such control. It is missing the "Brightness" choice. My car has a build date of Feb 2014.

 

Is this normal?

Turn "Auto Dim" off and the brightness bar will appear.

murphy is right; the option to adjust the brightness will only appear if the Auto Dim feature is set to OFF. To do this, press the 2 gears > DISPLAY > Auto Dim OFF > select the + or - to adjust the brightness.
