dnorris78 Posted April 11, 2014 at 01:29 AM Report Share Posted April 11, 2014 at 01:29 AM I can finally charge at work with my 120v charger. My employer installed a dedicated 120v 20 amp outlet in the parking lot. Now for work purposes I am gasoline free.
jeff_h Posted April 11, 2014 at 02:14 AM Report Share Posted April 11, 2014 at 02:14 AM Hey good for you! No dice for me and doubt that I will anytime soon... but there is a 240V Chargepoint charger a mile down the road and is free, so now I have a habit of putting on the iPod and headphones and walking to work first thing in the morning, then a couple hours later another nice walk break. But on some of the winter weather days it sure would have been nice to plug in at my work parking lot!
shaggy314 Posted April 14, 2014 at 06:48 PM Report Share Posted April 14, 2014 at 06:48 PM Rain isn't fun either... Mine's a city owned charger about 300 or so yards away. I share it with 3 other people (we rotate and email or watch the web site for it to open up). There are a potential 10 people that could use it but oddly 3 volts and a leaf in our business park never use it.
dmackdaddy Posted May 7, 2014 at 03:09 PM Report Share Posted May 7, 2014 at 03:09 PM Nice! We're moving into a new building in 2 months and we'll have 5 dual Chargers there for employees. No word on if they will be "Free" or 50 cents an hour. Either way I'm cool but FREE would be better :) jal142
