Checkers Posted April 3, 2014 at 02:48 AM Report Share Posted April 3, 2014 at 02:48 AM Hello! I have a quick question about the battery display when using EV Later. I am not sure if it possible or have not figured out how to display the hybrid charge portion of the battery when EV later is being used, I would like to see what the state of charge is for the battery when in hybrid mode and I cannot figure it out. Is this possible or am I stuck seeing only the remaining range of the full battery for EV Later when in hybrid mode. I hope this makes sense. Thanks! murphy Posted April 3, 2014 at 10:52 AM Report Share Posted April 3, 2014 at 10:52 AM The hybrid display only appears when the HVB is depleted to 0. The Empower display shows a single power curve. When in EV Later the frame of the curve is blue to indicate the hybrid battery level. From the Owner's Manual. Empower — Empower adds an engine on/off threshold to the power demand gaugefrom Enlighten. The threshold is shown as a blue double outline. The gauge is designedto show you how close you are to the gasoline engine on/off threshold and how muchpower you are requesting by how much you press on the accelerator pedal. SteveEnergi Posted April 3, 2014 at 11:55 AM Report Share Posted April 3, 2014 at 11:55 AM I suppose you can always press the "leaf" button on the console then select power tab. This shows you an outline of the car and where the power is coming from. It will also showing the battery charge level as a percentage and the reason for using engine vs. battery. It's a neat screen to watch. My left screen is always set to empower, as a personal preference. Steve
