paladin732 Posted March 17, 2014 at 10:27 PM Report Share Posted March 17, 2014 at 10:27 PM What options are on it at that price?
jeff_h Posted March 17, 2014 at 10:41 PM Report Share Posted March 17, 2014 at 10:41 PM What options are on it at that price? Sticker price of $45,790 would have just about everything... I would want a breakdown of that $36,333 and see if that does or does no include the $795 freight (some dealers include that in the quote, some do not)... and how many miles does it have on it? Rexracer Posted March 17, 2014 at 11:04 PM Report Share Posted March 17, 2014 at 11:04 PM (edited) In my opinion this seems a little high for a 2013. Remember the 2014s start off 4k cheaper, so this $45,790 sticker is only $41,790 on a 2013. So that’s only $5457 under what you can get a 2014 for WITHOUT any type of discount. Betting you can get 4-5k off without to much work. Also, since its a 2013 guessing it has a lot of stuff you don’t really want. If you build a 2014 on the Ford site, what is the price? There are also some options available for the 2014s that you could be interested in, ceramic (gray) interior, heated steering wheel, and cooled seats I believe. As someone that bought a 2013 model on clearance in December, I got 11k off MSRP without the rebate, so 3 months later I think you could do better. I would ask for another 1-2k off. BUT either way, if this car has everything you want, and the price is good for you, its a great car! Checkers Posted March 18, 2014 at 12:48 AM Author Report Share Posted March 18, 2014 at 12:48 AM The MSRP does include delivery. This does have just about everything, parking, drivers assistance, cruise, nav, and the roof. I actually would like the heated wheel and cooled seat on the 14, but was thinking I could get a bigger discount on a 13. If you think that might be able to get more off, I will ask and see. Thanks for the thoughts...... Any other opinions? Mike
Eric4539 Posted March 18, 2014 at 01:27 AM Report Share Posted March 18, 2014 at 01:27 AM I think that is a great price for a fully loaded 2013 Energi Titanium. My window sticker was $45,475 with every option including the cargo net, and then I negotiated down from that. You are starting at $41,333 and then negotiating. I think you would get a better deal on the 2013 that has been sitting on the dealer's lot all this time versus the 2014. The question is do you want the heated steering wheel and heated/cooled seats or do you want the lowest price? Otherwise you should price out a 2014 exactly as the 2013 you're interested in to see what the price difference is. Good luck!
